Accommodation for graduate students attending an international graduate summer course is included in the course fee, and the housing arrangements are provided beforehand.
A variety of housing arrangements are available, depending on the course and number of students attending it. Typically students attending the same course will live together in a large and comfortable, well equipped single house in a residential area close to the Earthquake Engineering Research Centre and the University Centre of South Iceland. As is typical in a university housing arrangements, students share a room and all have access to common areas and facilities. The common areas include kitchen and living room space, all kitchen facilities along with laundry machine and dryer being available.
The location in the center of Selfoss means that shops and restaurants are a short walk away, as well as the swimming pool, cinema and other needed service.
